In the Neuroscape MRI Scanner, Chad Smiddy is fortunate to be able to serve a wide variety of patients - from adults suffering from Alzheimer's, Corticobasal Degeneration, PSP, CJD, to children showing signs of ADHD on a Siemens Prisma with a 64-Channel Head Coil.
During the recent upgrade from the aging Siemens Trio to Prisma, Chad worked closely each step of the way with the various contractors required to deconstruct the existing Trio down to the magnet core, then installed the Fibre-Optic state-of-the-art Siemens Prisma with Research oriented 64-channel head coil around the existing magnet.
We also seek out fMRI Researchers around the UCSF Campus and help them run unique studies, bringing revenue to the UC System.
