Biography:

Dooyoung Jung is a psychiatrist who treats students and staff at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) and researches digital mental health as an associate professor. He graduated from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and Seoul National University, and trained at Seoul National University Hospital.

He has been at UNIST since 2016, working with clinical and counseling psychologists to establish a structure that allows more people to receive UNIST Healthcare Center services efficiently.

He is also researching the use of digital interfaces such as mobile, chatbot, and virtual reality to prevent and treat mental problems early. Collaborating with professors of design, artificial intelligence, and data science, he is conducting research by digitally implementing clinical experiences gained through the UNIST Healthcare Center and verifying them in the field.
