Biography:
William Wolfe is a psychiatrist and Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UCSF. He is Medical Director of the Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Clinical Team at the San Francisco VA. His research focuses on the impact of PTSD psychotherapy in the VA system and he is site investigator for a multi-center VA trial evaluating pharmacotherapy for insomnia in veterans with military-related PTSD. He has a private psychotherapy practice and provides consultation in legal matters related to PTSD. He serves as a study therapist / psychedelic facilitator in the MAPS clinical trials of MDMA Psychotherapy for PTSD.
